Team Leader Geo-Spatial Data Services

Salary Range: $78,797 to $83,874 per annum

Primary Objectives:
The Team Leader Geo-Spatial Data Services is required to:
- Develop and implement a spatial data strategy that enables CRC to effectively leverage its geo-spatial data as a ‘strategic asset’.
- Manage the GSD team to ensure effective and efficient execution of projects and operational tasks (including prioritisation).
- Contribute to the development of a technology plan to support the strategy implementation.
- Contribute to the development of a culture of continuous improvement within the team and across CRC (as it relates to the use of geo-spatial data).
- Build relationships with GIS stakeholders within Council, and the external GIS community.
To be eligible for this position you must have the following qualifications:
- Tertiary qualification and/or relevant professional qualifications in the areas of GIS, Geographical Sciences which is accepted by the Surveying & Spatial Sciences institute.
- Significant demonstrated experience in spatial data management and operations.
- Previous experience managing and working on projects.
