Salary Range: $59,706.96 - $71,531.64 per annum

We are seeking a payroll professional with suitable experience in a medium to large organisation. A customer service and continuous improvement focus is essential.
You should be experienced in all aspects of payroll with knowledge of awards, EBA and legislation interpretation. Sound knowledge of superannuation, taxation and other payroll responsibilities would be highly regarded.
Primary Objective of the position is:
- To assist with the maintenance and processing of Councils’ payroll system in an efficient and timely manner
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Demonstrated experience relevant to the duties of the position or relevant experience in similar role
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Attention to detail
- Very good data input skills. Ability to maintain speed and accuracy for both alpha and numeric characters
- Strong customer service focus
- Experience of Payroll procedures within Local Government preferred
- Experience with computerised payroll systems
- Ability to prioritise work
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
