Labourer - Landscape Maintenance

Salary: $47,932.16 per annum

• Full-Time Permanent Position
• Location: Forest View Precinct Depot
• 9 day fortnight

We are currently seeking a Labourer for our parks / landscape maintenance crew. 

Key Duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to: general labouring, maintenance / establishment of new & existing gardens, parks maintenance, removal of rubbish, pest and weed management and the use of small plant and equipment.

To be successful you will require:-

Qualifications

• C Class Driver's Licence.
• Secondary education to Year 10 with good writing and communication skills and an understanding of basic mathematics.
• Traffic Control and MUTCD Signage training or experience. 

Knowledge, Skills & Expertise

• Demonstrated skills and proven success in the delivery of efficient, effective and timely horticultural maintenance services.
• Physically able to undertake a variety of strenuous labouring tasks.
• Previous experience in maintenance of established gardens and establishment of new gardens.
• An understanding of and commitment to Workplace health and Safety, environmental responsibility, quality assurance, equal employment opportunities and open communications. 

People Oriented Skills & Attributes

• Demonstrated ability to develop sound, professional and responsive working relationships with a range of customers with an emphasis on providing quality customer service.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with limited supervision in a small team environment.

Possession of a Certificate III in Horticulture will be highly regarded.
