We are currently seeking a Laboratory Manager to join our Water and Waste, Quality and Compliance team. 

 

Salary Range: $94,538.81 to $106,347.60

Closing: Friday, 4 August 2017

 

About the Position: 

The primary objective of the Laboratory Manager is to be responsible and accountable for developing new and existing business opportunities to promote and expand revenue streams. This role also manages the delivery of scientific laboratory services for internal and external customers, whilst ensuring that all activities satisfy licence requirements and NATA accreditation. 

 

The ideal candidate will possess: 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Science or relevant field. 
  • Extensive relevant experience in a management position within a laboratory environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial business analysis.
  • Experience in the development and maintenance of quality systems. 
  • High level communication and people management skills. 
  • Ability to develop and lead a team of technical professionals.

The successful applicant will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing and a criminal history check.
