Records Officer
Vacancy Reference Number: 11404 Salary Range: $47,823.79 - $59,505.07 Location: Council Chambers, Spence Street Closing: Wednesday, 14 March 2018 Applications: Must be submitted online, applications not addressing the full selection criteria will not be accepted.
About the position:
- This position is respoinsible for providing reliable and effective records management services to customers in a culture of continous improvement.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Demonstrated experience in the management o records in various formats and media within a complex organisation.
- Detailed knowledge or experience of electronic records management systems.
- Demonstrated understanding of the Public Records Act 2002, Information Standards 31 and 40.
- Demonstrated high level written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
- Demonstrated flexability and willingness to work within a roster system.
Although not mandatory, Certificate III/IV in Recordkeeping or related discipline relating to record keeping and/or information management and an understanding of the Right to Information Act 2009 & Information Privacy Act 2009 would be well regarded.

Pre-Employment Assessment:
