Project Manager  WS3196

Salary: $84,235.38 - $89,663.75 per annum

Location: Council Chamber, 119 – 145 Spence Street, Cairns

Primary Objectives of the position:

  • Provision of pre-construction and construction Project Management activities for capital works; across all of Council’s infrastructure programs except water and wastewater.
  • Coordinate and supervise project teams comprising internal and external members as required.
  • Project management of internal and external resources to achieve desired project outcomes.

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications – for example in: Civil engineering (Bachelor, Bachelor of Technology or Associate Diploma), Project Management, Construction Management
  • Current Queensland C class licence.
  • Civil Engineering and / or project management experience in a medium to large multi-disciplined organisation.
  • Strong engineering / technical knowledge and project management skills.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of relevant Standards and Legislation
