Position Summary

Contract Administrator - 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract

Salary Range: $76,355.88 - $79,532.89 pro-rata per annum
Location: 119-145 Spence Street, Cairns
Closing: Monday 18th March 2019

Primary objectives of the position:

  • To provide expert advice in relation to tenders and contracts and effective contract administration.
  • Responsible for administering procurement arrangements, drafting and reviewing of tender documents.
  • Responsible for provision of expert advice and guidance for all matters related to contract administration including relevant legislation.
  • Participate as an effective team member in support of operational and project delivery contract administration and management services.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in business administration, construction, procurement or contract administration, or equivalent workplace experience.
  • Experience in contract administration in a medium to large multi-disciplined organisation.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, scheduling, planning and coordination skills.
  • An ability to liaise and report at all levels of the business, including executive and senior management levels.
  • Demonstrated experience working within a team environment and being a team player.
