Position Summary

Administration & Project Support Officer

Temporary Fixed Term Position until 30 June 2021

Salary Range: $58,536.24 - $63,618.54 pro-rata per annum
Location: Spence Street

The primary objective of the position is to provide administrative support to the Strategic Planning & Approvals Branch based on established routines / methods / standards and procedures.

To be successful you will require: 

  • Secondary education to at least Grade 12.
  • Certificate III in Business Administration or similar course completion.
  • Current Driver’s Licence.
  • Administrative skills necessary to effectively and efficiently carry out the duties and responsibilities outlined in this position description.
  • Computer experience particularly in the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
  • High level of skill in word processing/typing.
  • Ability to relate well to other staff and to members of the public.
  • Ability to follow instructions and a willingness to accept and carry out delegated tasks.
  • Sound written and oral communication skills.

Selection Criteria Essential: Do you have previous experience working within an office / administration environment?
Essential: Are you proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software, particularly MS Word, Outlook and Excel?
Essential: Do you have a Certificate III in Business Administration or similar equivalent course?
Essential: Do you have a current and valid C Class Drivers' Licence or above?
