Personal Assistant to the General Manager - Community, Sport & Cultural Services

We are seeking a highly organised, proficient and experienced PA extraordinaire to support our General Manager with a wide range of administrative, research, customer service and follow-up support services.
The key duties and responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Provide secretarial and administrative support for General Manager in the preparation, coordination, document management and accuracy of correspondence, reports, memos, meeting agendas for Committee and Council meetings and record, produce and publish minutes.
- Diary management and arranging appointments.
- Travel and accommodation bookings and arrangements
- Receive and respond to all forms of communications referred to the General Manager in a timely and professional manner.
- Participate in a variety of projects designated by the General Manager and effective project delivery including research, report preparation and implementation.
To be successful for this role you will require:
- Certificate IV in Business Administration and / or experience relevant to the position.
- Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information in a professional and sensitive manner.
- Proficient keyboard typing and word processing skills with advanced knowledge in the Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and Internet based research).
- Demonstrated ability in the timely preparation and presentation of reports, correspondence and minutes.
- Excellent motivation, time management and organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks, prioritise and consistently meet deadline in an often busy environment.
- Highly developed and effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills, both face to face and via telephone.
