Cairns Regional Council is currently seeking a Plant Operator to join our Water & Resource Recovery Department.
Primary Objective of the position:
- As a Plant Operator, support the Leading Hand and Team Leader in the operation of wastewater treatment plant(s).
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Secondary education to year 10
- Current “C” class driver’s licence
- Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office suite of programs
- Demonstrated understanding of basic mathematics, biology and water chemistry
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
