Located in one of the most beautiful places on the planet - Cairns, this is a great opportunity for you to work in the ticketing industry on a range of genres and venues.
Ticketlink is operated by Cairns Regional Council and provides ticketing services for events held at the Cairns Performing Arts Centre, Tanks Arts Centre, Munro Martin Parklands and many other amazing venues in Far North Queensland.
In this role you will provide specialist support for the Ticketlink ticketing system, liaise with promoters regarding ticketing requirements, including setup on new events, cancellations/changes, special requests/promotions, and event reporting.
The successful applicant will require a strong commitment to the highest level of customer service to help raise the profile of Ticketlink and the arts and culture of Cairns.
To be considered for this role you must have:
- A current Queensland Drivers Licence
- Experience and ability to sell tickets
- Experience responding to customer enquiries
- Knowledge and experience in the ticketing industry
- High attention to detail, including the ability to
- Friendly, out-going disposition with a high emphasis on customer service
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Experience in cash handling
