Cairns Regional Council is currently seeking a Trainee Store Person to join our Finance Department.
Primary Objective of the position:
- To obtain Certificate III in Warehousing Operations.
- To meet the needs of customers at all times in a professional, courteous and friendly manner.
- Responsible for the control, issue and receipt of material and stock at Councils stores.
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Secondary education to at least Grade 10
- Current Drivers Licence
- A strong commitment to the highest level of Customer Service and a desire to raise the profile of Council
- Ability to use tact, confidentiality and discretion
