Cairns Regional Council is currently seeking a Program Officer to join our Finance Department.
Primary objectives of the position:
- To provide high-level administrative and program support to the TOBI Program including superior executive support to the Program Manager.
To be successful in this role you will require:
- Extensive demonstrated experience in a similar role.
- Current driver’s licence.
- Demonstrated superior administrative, time management and organisational skills ideally gained as a large scale project administrator or executive assistant.
- Advanced computer skills including proficiency in MS Office applications, including MS Project and Council’s key operating systems.
- Demonstrated ability to undertake research, formulate clear conclusions and prepare supporting documentation to a high standard.
- Experience in drafting or supporting the production of regular communication including visual presentations and displays using a range of desktop software.
- An understanding or demonstrated interest in one or more of the following areas relevant to the TOBI project: large scale application refresh, community development, property development, accessibility, ecological sustainability.
