Plant Operator
Reference Number: 13108 Salary Range: $53,560.00 - $57,560.36 per annum Location: Tunnel Hill Water Treatment Plant Closing: Monday 3rd February 2020

Primary objectives of the position:
- As an Assistant / Trainee Operator / Operator / Senior Operator, provide the required input as directed to perform the process control duties necessary in the day to day operations of a water treatment plant(s), bulk distribution to reservoirs, Chlorine disinfection at the relevant bulk reservoirs and dam management to ensure compliance with relevant State / Federal Laws.
To be successful in this role you will require:
- Secondary education to Year 12.
- Current “C” class driver’s licence.
- Ability to enrol in Certificate III in Water Operations within the first year of employment.
- A practical hands on approach to the resolution of problems.
- Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office suite of programs.
- Demonstrated understanding of basic mathematics, biology and water chemistry.
- An ability to work with spreadsheet and word processing software programs.
