Salary Range: $63,647.88 - $68,647.88 per annum
Location: Botanic Gardens Administration Office – Collins Avenue

We are currently seeking a highly organised and suitably experienced venue hire and events extraordinaire to join our Cultural Services team now! In this role you will facilitate venue hire and provide event management for corporate, private and community groups.
Key duties & responsibilities include:-
- Provide first point of contact for all venue enquiries.
- Assist and advise venue hire customers to ensure that their events and activities are successful and run smoothly and safely.
- Promote and coordinate venue bookings to maximise venue use and profitability.
- Develop and maintain standard venue hire packages and templates.
To be successful you must have:-
- Experience in the administration of arts and entertainment venues and events; or experience coordinating or managing events in the corporate and/or hospitality industry
- A high level of proficiency in administrative processes & procedures
- The ability to multi-task with a high level of accuracy
- The ability to work under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work with and communicate with a wide range of people and community groups
