Casual Librarian

Salary Range: $32 - $40 per hour plus casual loading

Location: Various Library Branches - (Branches located at Babinda, Gordonvale, Edmonton, Earlville, City, Manunda, Smithfield &
Stratford)

Primary Objectives of The Position:

  • Effective coordination and management of a branch library.
  • Participate in overall planning and delivery of library services.
  • Perform work tasks required to deliver an excellent library service to the community.

To be successful in this role you will need the following essential qualifications in line with State Library standards:

  • ALIA accredited undergraduate (Bachelor) degree in library and information studies; or
  • First degree in any discipline AND an ALIA recognised post-graduate (graduate diploma or masters) course; or
  • Education, training and experiences deemed equivalent to a degree in library and information science.
  • Current Qld Drivers Licence.
