Project Manager WS3195

Salary Range: $82,180 to $87,476 per annum

Location: Council Chambers Spence Street

Primary objectives of the position:

  • Provision of pre-construction and construction Project Management activities for capital works across all of Council’s infrastructure programs except water and wastewater.
  • Coordinate and supervise project teams comprising internal and external members as required.
  • Project management of internal and external resources to achieve desired project outcomes.

Essential Qualifications:

Qualifications & Experience

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications – for example in: Civil engineering (Bachelor, Bachelor of Technology or Associate Diploma); Project Management; Construction Management
  • Civil Engineering and project management experience in a medium to large multi-disciplined organisation.
  • Current Driver’s Licence.

Knowledge, Skills & Expertise

  • Strong engineering/technical knowledge and project management skills.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of relevant Standards and Legislation.

People Orientated Skills & Attributes

  • Good negotiation and oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage self and others.
