Salary Range: $82,180 to $87,476 per annum
Location: Council Chambers Spence Street

Primary objectives of the position:
- Provision of pre-construction and construction Project Management activities for capital works across all of Council’s infrastructure programs except water and wastewater.
- Coordinate and supervise project teams comprising internal and external members as required.
- Project management of internal and external resources to achieve desired project outcomes.
Essential Qualifications:
Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant tertiary qualifications – for example in: Civil engineering (Bachelor, Bachelor of Technology or Associate Diploma); Project Management; Construction Management
- Civil Engineering and project management experience in a medium to large multi-disciplined organisation.
- Current Driver’s Licence.
Knowledge, Skills & Expertise
- Strong engineering/technical knowledge and project management skills.
- Working knowledge and understanding of relevant Standards and Legislation.
People Orientated Skills & Attributes
- Good negotiation and oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage self and others.
