Position Summary

Team Leader Business Administration  FS936

Salary Range: $63,648 - $74,767 per annum

Location: Council Chamber, 119 – 145 Spence Street, Cairns

Primary objectives of the position:

  • To provide superior customer support, through cohesive, skilled financial and administration services to the organisation, through the supervision of the Business Administration Team.
  • To plan and schedule its workload, ensuring its team members develop and maintain a high level of financial and administrative knowledge.
  • To contribute in fostering a culture of continuous improvement, efficiency, staff development and exceptional customer service. 

To be successful in this role you must have:- 

  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal and supervisory skills and experience in dealing with and diffusing conflicts.
  • Demonstrated high level experience and capabilities in an administrative and/or customer service environment.
  • Demonstrated high level administration experience and well developed interpersonal skills.

Selection Criteria Essential: Do you have demonstrated experience in leadership including staff management?
Essential: Do you have a recognised qualification in administration (Certificate III/IV in Business Administration or similar) and/or extensive demonstrated experience in a similar technical support role?
