Salary: $66,550.35 - $71,531.64 per annum

Primary Objectives of the position:-
- The ongoing operation of the maintenance management system in Cairns Works for the Central District.
- Ensure continuous improvement in the delivery of Cairns Works’ services, processes and procedures.
- Prepare reports for Cairns Works Management.
- Undertake specific tasks / projects associated with the delivery of maintenance activities.
To be successful in this role you must have:-
- Year 12 Education
- Current Open C-Class Driver’s License.
- General Construction Safety White Card
- Demonstrated workplace experience in Civil Engineering, Business, Accounting or a similar professional discipline.
- Demonstrated ability, or ability to acquire budgeting skills including preparing estimates and budgets (good understanding of intermediate level mathematics required).
- Advanced computer skills to achieve required outcomes using Council’s network, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access databases.
- Demonstrated ability, or the ability to acquire skills in the implementation and management of Council’s Maintenance Management System.
- Highly developed organisational skills including a demonstrated ability to effectively plan, organise and coordinate a multitude of diverse and complex tasks and projects.
