Coordinator Fleet Workshops – WS844

Salary: $94,234.67 - $99,769.14 per annum

Primary Objectives of the position:-

  • Responsible for the maintenance management of Council’s $40m Fleet Asset portfolio.
  • Effective management of the Fleet Mechanical and Metal Fabrication Services, contributing to cost‑effective maintenance of fleet assets in support of Council operations.
  • Build and maintain effective business relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external.
  • Proactive leadership of Mechanical and Fabrication Workshops to achieve performance targets.

To be successful in this role you must have:- 

  • Current Queensland Driver’s licence Class C or higher.
  • Relevant trade qualifications and significant experience in an industry leadership role.
  • Demonstrated industry knowledge, skills and expertise in application of maintenance standards for vehicles and mobile plant.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and achieving high productivity outcomes within a mechanical workshop environment, including budget and cost control.
  • Sound computer skills, incorporating the use of Word and Excel with demonstrated experience in Fleet Management Systems.
  • Good understanding of corporate systems such as work order/management, supply/purchasing, or fleet management.
