Gallery Technical & Operational Coordinator

Salary Range: $61,027 to $65,595 per annum

Primary Objectives:
- Implement the production schedule for exhibitions, workshops and events.
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of exhibitions, workshops and events.
- Coordinate gallery requirements and maintenance.
- Provide a front-of-house service to gallery visitors.
- Work with the Tanks Arts Centre Technical team to ensure that events run smoothly, efficiently and with high production standards.
To be eligible for this position you must have the following:
- Possess a ‘good eye’ for design and spatial acuity.
- Ability to undertake tasks autonomously and unsupervised.
- Ability to learn and develop safe and efficient processes to complete both administrative and manual tasks.
- Ability to teach simple tasks and supervise small teams of casual gallery staff and inexperienced volunteers.
- A sound understanding of relevant WH&S principles and legislation.
- Current open car driver’s licence.
