Cairns Regional Council is currently seeking two (2) Labourer’s to join our Water & Resource Recovery Department.
Primary Objective of the position:
As a Water Systems Labourer, operate as directed by supervisory staff, assist in maintaining all aspects of the water reticulation system / property service and customer complaints regarding the operations of water reticulation systems in accordance with the service standards set by Water & Waste.
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Secondary education to Year 10
- A current HR class drivers licence
- Previous experience in water systems maintenance and construction works
- Good written and communication skills and an understanding of basic mathematics
- Demonstrated ability to work within and adapt to different team environments
