Plant Operator Reference Number: 11521 Salary Range: $51,185.46 - $57,184.78 Location: Various Wastewater Treatment Plants Closing: Friday 29 June 2018 Applications: Must be submitted online, applications not addressing the full selection criteria will not be accepted.
Primary objectives of the position: As an Assistant / Trainee Operator / Operator / Senior Operator, provide the required input to perform the process control duties necessary in the day to day operations of a sewerage treatment plant to ensure compliance with relevant State / Federal Legislation.
To succeed in this role, you will require:-
- Current C Class Drivers Licence
- Ability to enrol / completing Certificate III or IV Water Operations
- A common sense hands on approach to the resolution of problems.
- Demonstrated understanding of basic mathematics, biology and water chemistry.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work as a member of a team.
