Working within the Information Services Branch, this role presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to contribute to the redevelopment of Council’s website.
Primary Objective of the position:
- Work with Council business units to articulate business problems and requirements
- Perform a range of business analysis tasks relating to the design, build and implementation of assigned projects
- Liaise with key project stakeholders to deliver outcomes that best meet the organisation’s overall needs
- Assist with the development of innovative and creative solutions, taking into account new and developing technology directions, commercially available in a rapidly evolving marketplace
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Significant demonstrated experience as an IT Business Analyst
- Tertiary qualification and/or relevant professional qualifications in Information Management, Information Technology (IT), Business Analysis or Project Management related discipline
- Proven experience in in-house and external software development and implementation
- Demonstrated stakeholder management and relationship building skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to clearly convey ideas and information, to a variety of audiences
- Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with others
- Demonstrable digital project experience working on customer-facing websites would be advantageous
