Casual Precinct Maintenance Officer
Reference Number: 12794 Hourly Rate: $25.37 per hour + 23% casual loading Location: Esplanade / Inner City Precinct / Barlow Park
Hours of Duty: Casual hours as required. Leisure Venues operates 7 days a week, 365 days a year. This position will involve working irregular hours, and outside normal business hours as required Close Date: Friday, 26 April 2019
The primary objectives of the position are:
- To operate and maintain all Leisure Services Aquatic equipment and systems as required.
- The daily cleaning and maintenance of public areas and amenities within Esplanade and Barlow Park.
- To set up events infrastructure and rubbish collection for events / concerts.
Key duties and reponsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- The safe and sanitary presentation of public amenities and conveniences.
- Set up of events related infrastructure as required
- Perform day-to-day cleaning and programmed maintenance as required.
- General maintenance of Leisure Services buildings, grounds, gardens and equipment as directed.
- Provide excellent customer service
To be successful you will require:
- Current Queensland Driver’s Licence.
- Sound knowledge of the use of chemicals.
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Proven ability to follow work schedules.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully work in a high profile public environment with an emphasis on communication and providing quality customer service.
- An ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a swimming pool environment is highly desirable.
