In this role you will lead a diverse and high performing team that are responsible for a diverse range of policy and approval matters, engaging with a broad range of stakeholders across the region.
The successful applicant will possess advanced communication skills and high-level negotiation and conflict resolution abilities, have a strong achievement and action orientation, demonstrate technical competencies and an ongoing commitment to personal growth and ethical behaviour. The successful candidate will also set high standards and have a strong client focus pursuing the delivery quality services. This position will also be required to focus on continuous improvement providing strong change management leadership to team within the Branch.
The successful candidate will have a background in the fields of urban planning, development, property, project management, strategy development and growth management, including an ability to work across a variety of disciplines at a strategic level. The successful candidate will also hold tertiary qualifications relevant to these fields.
A strong focus on ensuring efficiency of operations and creating a positive workforce culture centred on quality client service and high performance is required.
