Precinct Ganger  WS256

Salary: $57,938.36 per annum

Location: Stratford Depot, Arnold Street, Stratford & Trinity Sub-Depot

Primary Objectives of the position:-

  • To organise, lead and direct the field operations of the Precinct Crews and Contractors thus ensuring efficient and effective use of resources in delivering a high quality of presentation whilst complying with all environmental and safe work practices.
  • To undertake precinct maintenance inspections reporting on all noteworthy aspects.
  • To provide a safe depot environment and security.

To be successful in this role you must have:- 

  • Secondary education to Year 10 with good writing and communication skills and an understanding of basic mathematics.
  • Hold a current Queensland Medium Rigid (MR) class drivers licence.
  • Construction Industry General Safety Induction Qualification. (White Card).
  • Certificate III in Horticulture or associated field and/or demonstrated experience to perform the duties.
  • Working in Proximity to Traffic- Awareness Part 1

Selection Criteria Essential: Do you have previous experience in parks maintenance and/or horticulture?
Essential: Do you hold a current and valid MR Driver's Licence (or above)?
Essential: Have you completed Working in Proximity to Traffic – Awareness Part 1 or ability to obtain?
Essential: Do you hold a Certificate III in Horticulture or associated field and/or demonstrated experience to perform the duties?
