Footpath Sweeper Operator / Trimmer WS512
Salary: $51,398.36 per annum Location: Martyn Street Depot, 158A Martyn Street, Cairns Reference Number: 12946 Close Date: Monday 26 August 2019
Primary Objectives of the position:
- This position requires working with the CBD night sweeping crew and will operate the Footpath Sweeper & undertake on‑site labouring and trimming tasks for maintenance activities ensuring maximum productivity with a high standard of workmanship and job safety..
Work Pattern: Must be available to work weekends.
- An example roster is provided below, which is subject to change as operationally required:
- Thursday 3am - 11.30am, Friday 3am - 11.30am, Saturday 2am - 10.30am, Sunday 2am - 10.30am, Monday 3am - 11.30am and Tuesday & Wednesday Off
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Current C Class Driver’s Licence.
- Secondary education to Year 10 with good writing and communication skills and an understanding of basic mathematics.
- Demonstrated ability to perform a range of maintenance labouring tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a small team and to be a good team player.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a public environment.
