Salary Range: $66,550.30 - $78,176.92 per annum

Reporting to the Executive Project Officer, we are seeking an experienced personal assistant/administration professional with initiative, attention to detail and strong organisational skills to work in this fast paced environment and support the delivery of Council’s Economic Development objectives.
Primary Objective of the position:
- To provide a wide range of administrative, research, customer service, business development and support services to the EPO and staff within Council’s Economic Development and Economic Events teams.
- Promote a “We are here to help” culture within the Economic Development and Economic Events teams.
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Demonstrated qualifications and/or experience relevant to the position.
- Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information in a professional and sensitive manner.
- Proficient keyboard typing and word processing skills.
- Advanced knowledge in the use of computer applications particularly Microsoft suite of products i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet based research.
- High level verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact across the Department and Council with a range of individuals as well as external clients and consultants in a timely and effective manner.
- Demonstrated ability in the timely preparation and presentation of reports, presentations, correspondence and minutes.
- Demonstrated ability to self-initiate tasks and a commitment to team performance.
- A high level of face to face customer service skills and telephone/reception skills for internal and external customers.
