Labourer / Truck Driver (Roads & Drainage Maintenance)

Salary: $47,932.16 per annum 

Location: Stratford Depot

• Full-Time Permanent Position
• 9 day fortnight
• 5 weeks annual leave

To be successful in the role you must have:-

• Secondary education to Year 10 with good writing and communication skills and an understanding of basic mathematics.
• Hold a current Queensland MR Class Drivers Licence (minimum requirement).
• Demonstrated ability to undertake a wide variety of physically strenuous labouring tasks in a tropical environment associated with Road Construction and Maintenance activities.
• Demonstrated skills and experience in the driving of trucks with trailers, the operation of small plant and the ability to perform daily routine servicing and safety checks.
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Workplace Health and Safety and Environmental Issues relevant to Road Construction and Maintenance Activities.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a small team environment, be a good team player, possess a high level of motivation and work efficiently with limited supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a public environment with the emphasis on communication and providing quality customer service.
