Gardener / Labourer Horticulture  WS779

Salary Range: $50,139.84 per annum

Location: Stratford Depot / Northern Districts

Primary Objective of the position:-

  • To perform on-site labouring, gardening, mowing and driving tasks primarily associated with Landscape Maintenance within the High Profile areas of the Northern District.
  • To work in an environmentally sensitive manner whilst ensuring maximum productivity with a high standard of workmanship and personal and public safety.

To be successful in this role you must have:- 

  • Hold a current Queensland Medium Rigid (MR) class drivers licence.
  • Secondary education to Year 10 with good writing and communication skills and an understanding of basic mathematics.
  • Certificate II in Horticulture or demonstrated experience to perform the duties.
  • Working in Proximity to Traffic – Awareness Part 1 or ability to obtain.
  • Demonstrated ability and a physical capacity to undertake a variety of strenuous labouring tasks in a tropical environment associated with horticultural landscape maintenance activities.
