Senior Administration Officer & Project Support Officer

We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated and experienced senior administrator to join our Strategic Planning & Approvals Branch now!
The individual we are seeking will be well organised, service oriented and possess highly developed interpersonal and communications skills. You will also be well versed in all facets of project / administration support and demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement, efficiency and customer service.
Reporting to the Coordinator Development Services, the primary objectives of the position are:
- To work in a team environment to manage customer service and administration duties within the Development Services team, specifically but not limited to providing support to the relevant Strategic Planning & Approvals business units currently engaged to ensure customers are provided the highest possible standard of service.
- To support Coordinator in fostering a culture of continuous improvement, efficiency and staff development.
- To assess and upgrade where necessary the procedures and processes affecting the administrative services provided within the Strategic Planning & Approvals Branch.
To be successful you will require:
- Demonstrated high level experience and capabilities in a customer service environment
- Suitable qualifications or experience relevant to senior administrative or clerical work
- Proficient keyboard typing skills
- Proficiency in the use of computer software including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel
- Demonstrated ability to identify problems in administrative processes, identify suitable solutions
- A high level interpersonal, communication and written skills
- A positive "here to help" attitude
- Commitment to team work
- The ability to rapidly acquire an understanding of business support functions and general Council policies relative to services provided
