We are currently seeking (2) Senior Project Managers to join our Information Services Branch.
Salary Range: $86,413.35 - $91,488.46 per annum
Closing: 3 November 2017
About the Position:
The primary objective of the Senior Project Manager is to provide project and program management services to the organisation, primarily for projects, delivering IT capabilities.
This role also provides change management services to ensure that IT projects are successfully implemented and adopted within the business in a manner that ensures the desired business outcomes and benefits are achieved.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience in an Information Management, Information Technology or Project Management related discipline;
- Strong and demonstrated experience in Project Management with successful delivery of large, complex projects (e.g budget > $2m, duration > 1 year, staffing levels >10 FTE);
- Demonstrated knowledge of project management and governance practices - developing project briefs, project plans, risk management plan, quality plans and communication plans from small to large projects;
- Demonstrated experience in successfully implementing change in business processes and systems across a multi-functional organisation; and
- Track record of ensuring that business benefits are achieved from the projects delivered.
