Cairns Regional Council is currently seeking a Fitter to join our Water & Waste Department.
Primary Objective of the position:
- To maintain Water & Waste’s mechanical installations equipment infrastructure
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Trade qualified Fitter and Turner
- Queensland ‘MR’ Driver's Licence
- Experience in on-site repair and maintenance of fixed and mobile plant and equipment
- Demonstrated skills mentoring/sharing with apprentices and co-workers
- Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team
