Ticketing Support Officer
Salary: $58,536.24 - $63,618.54 per annum + 15% loading for working unusual hours
Location: Cairns Performing Arts Centre (CPAC)

Ticketlink, operated by Cairns Regional Council, provides ticketing services for events held at Cairns Performing Arts Centre, Tanks Arts Centre, Munro Martin Parklands and many other venues in Far North Queensland.
We now have an exciting opportunity for a Ticketing Support Officer to join our team now. In this role you will be working closely with the Ticketing Coordinator and Ticketing Admin Officer to liaise with clients to coordinate ticketing requirements for multiple Cairns Regional Council venues and events at external venues.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide specialist support for the Ticketlink ticketing system, including the building of new venues, new events and management of other event-related applications as directed.
- Undertake general administrative tasks to support the ticketing function.
- Liaise with promoters regarding ticketing requirements, including setup on new events, cancellations/changes, special requests/promotions, and event reporting.
- Act as Ticket Seller both in the box office and external events as required.
To be considered for this role you must have:
- A current Queensland Drivers Licence
You will ideally possess:
- Experience and ability to sell tickets
- Experience responding to customer enquiries
- Knowledge and experience in the ticketing industry
- Experience in cash handling
- Experience using ENTA (or similar ticketing software) and Microsoft Office
