Expressions of Interest - Project Officers - Cultural Services
(Casual Positions)

Do you have a keen interest in Arts & Culture? Are you well versed with all aspects of project administration and delivery?
Expressions of Interest are now open for highly skilled, motivated and results focussed Project Officers to join our Cultural Services team.
In this role you will work collaboratively across the Cultural Services Branch to assist a highly motivated and experienced team develop and expand the capacity and capability of the branch’s strategic planning, programs and projects across areas including but not limited to:
- Public Art projects
- The Regional Arts Development Fund grant program
- Festivals and events
- Flame.Arts capacity building programs and projects
- Data collection, Surveys and Evaluation
- Reporting and acquittals
- Customer Service
- Project and budget management
- Research and analysis
- Administration support
To be considered for these roles you must have:
- Experience in project administration
- Certificate IV or tertiary qualification in relevant field or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated experience in achieving project outcomes
- Experience in writing business documents (e.g. reports, memos, business cases)
- Professional or specialised knowledge in key Arts & Cultural industries and/or organisations
- Demonstrated high level written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience maintaining accurate records including data entry, analysis, monitoring and compliance
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work and complete tasks with tight timeframes
- Computer literacy, particularly in the use of Microsoft Office products
Applications for these positions will be kept on our register for 3-6 months and will be assessed as projects are due to commence. These positions are casual and form part of our casual pool of staff which will be topped up on a as needs basis.
Level on appointment will be dependent on qualifications, experience and commensurate with specific projects.
