Salary Range: $78,272.41 - $81,529.17 per annum

Primary Objective of the position is to supervise the fleet workshops:
- Manage and action requests and enquiries in relation to Council’s road, drainage and footpath infrastructure.
- Prepare, implement and review Council’s Asset Management Plans for road, footpaths and drainage assets.
- To assist in the development of a five year renewal programs for road, footpath and drainage assets.
- To undertake asset revaluations and condition assessments.
- To undertake asset inspections, capitalisation and reporting on Transport and Drainage assets.
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Tertiary qualifications relating to the position (e.g. Certificate IV Civil Construction, Associate Diploma Civil Engineering, Asset Management), and/or extensive relevant experience.
- Current Qld C class driver's licence or above.
- High level of skills in the use of relevant software packages.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in the development and implementation of asset management plans.
- Good level of oral and written communication skills, possessing an ability to deal with confronting situations and negotiating acceptable outcomes with limited supervision.
- Demonstrated effective communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, customers and stakeholders.
