The primary objectives of the position are: 

• To operate and maintain all Leisure Services Aquatic equipment and systems as required.
• The daily cleaning and maintenance of public areas and amenities within Esplanade and Barlow Park.
• To set up events infrastructure and rubbish collection for events / concerts.

To be successful in this role you will require:

• Current Queensland Driver’s Licence.
• Previous experience in amenity maintenance.
• Sound knowledge of the use of chemicals.
• Previous experience in a swimming pool environment is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Proven ability to follow work schedules.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully work in a high-profile public environment with an emphasis on communication and providing quality customer service.
• An ability to work effectively as part of a team.
